Challenge

Focused on the numbers, food-grade soybeans cost more. However, they yield a larger crop and demand a premium price compared to commodity soybeans. The trouble is informing potential growers and farmers of this opportunity within Sevita’s existing website.

Solution

Challenged with sharing these comparisons, we developed a Javascript online calculator for the dealer to enter a few simple fields of data to automatically calculate the benefits of using Sevita’s food grade soybean seeds. Not only does it calculate, it provides a display comparison chart and the ability to save & print a PDF that can be easily emailed.

Results

The calculator was integrated into the existing website and mobile-friendly for on-the-go comparisons. The calculator’s use easily flowed from the previous content and allowed growers to make a more informed choice when it comes to their seeds.
