Challenge

Focused on the numbers, food-grade soybeans cost more. However, they yield a larger crop and demand a premium price compared to commodity soybeans. The trouble is informing potential growers and farmers of this opportunity within Sevita’s existing website.

Solution

Challenged with sharing these comparisons, we developed Javascript online calculator for the dealer to enter a few simple fields on data to automatically calculate the benefits of using Sevita’s food grade soybean seeds. Not only does it calculate, it provides a display comparison chart and the ability to save & print a PDF that can be easily emailed.

Results

The calculator was integrated into the existing website and mobile-friendly for on-the-go comparisons. The calculator’s use easily flowed from the previous content and allowed growers to make a more informed choice when it comes to their seeds.
